What is Bronchoscopy?
A bronchoscopy is an endoscopic medical procedure for looking inside the airways (bronchi) and the lungs. It involves inserting a bronchoscope—a narrow tube that has a light and a camera on one end—through the nose or mouth and guiding it down through the trachea (windpipe) in order to get an internal view of the respiratory system. It may be done to diagnose a disease or condition such as lung cancer or infection or to treat a medical problem such as a foreign object that's lodged in the airways.
There are two types of bronchoscopy. The most common uses a flexible bronchoscope and requires on local anesthesia and a light sedative. Less often a rigid bronchoscope, which is thicker than a flexible one and typically made of metal, is necessary. In that case, a patient must be under general anesthesia in an operating room.

Stages of Pulmonary Sarcoidosis
Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition that has been affecting many people of late. In sarcoidosis, tiny granulomas or inflammatory nodules appear in the various organs of the body. The lungs, eyes, skin, and lymph nodes are commonly affected by the condition. Sarcoidosis can also occur in the brain, heart, liver, spleen. The exact trigger for sarcoidosis is not very clearly understood.
Stage one sarcoidosis indicates granulomas in the lymph nodes. Stage two indicates lymph node involvement in addition to granulomas in the lungs. At first, this might appear to be a progressive diagnosis compared to stage one. However, stage three sarcoidosis indicates granulomas present in the lungs, but not in the lymph nodes. This demonstrates how the stages are not a progression. A patient may even go between these stages- you might have stage two sarcoidosis, and then with treatment or time become stage one, or three, or go into remission altogether.

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that affects multiple organs in the body, but mostly the lungs and lymph glands. In people with sarcoidosis, abnormal masses or nodules (called granulomas) consisting of inflamed tissues form in certain organs of the body. Signs and symptoms of sarcoidosis vary depending on which organs are affected. Sarcoidosis sometimes develops gradually and produces symptoms that last for years.

Causes & Risk Factors of Pulmonary Embolism
Pulmonary Embolism is a blood clot in the Pulmonary arteries that usually travels from a deep vein in the legs to the lungs. This clot blocks the lungs and creates a life-threatening situation for the patient. With prompt medication and treatment, the risk can be mitigated. A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot breaks off from another part of the bloodstream and travels to the arteries in the lungs.
Pulmonary Embolism is caused due to the formation of several clumps or blood clots that enter into the Pulmonary arteries. Typically, these clots are formed from the deep veins of the legs, also known as Deep Vein Thrombosis. The clots block the flow of blood in the lungs, which is fatal to the patients.

Some common symptoms of pulmonary embolism !!
Pulmonary embolism is the sudden blockage of a major blood vessel (artery) in the lung, usually by a blood clot.
When a blood clot blocks one or more arteries in your lungs the condition is known as pulmonary embolism. It can cause a decrease in the oxygen levels in your blood, damage to your lungs due to sudden restrictions in the flow of blood along with adverse effects on other parts of your body. Life-threatening blockage can cause death if left untreated and you should immediately contact your health care provider to get a proper diagnosis.
